In A Significant Move To Drive Development And Growth In Bauchi State, Governor Bala Mohammed Chaired A Crucial State Executive Council Meeting, Approving Several Projects Aimed At Transforming The State.
The Meeting, Which Was Attended By Members Of The State Executive Council, Saw Memoranda From Various Ministries Presented, With Approvals And Ratifications Granted. Key Resolutions Reached During The Meeting Include:
– Rural Road Projects:the Council Ratified A Memo To Obtain A ₦5 Billion Loan For The Payment Of Counterpart Funds To Enable The State To Benefit From More Rural Road Projects Under The Raamp Project, A World Bank-assisted Initiative.
This Move Is Expected To Bring More Dividends Of Democracy To The State, Promoting Sustainable Growth And Development.
Currently, Over 300 Kilometers Of Rural Road Projects Are Ongoing Across The State.
– Rehabilitation Of Nysc Orientation Camp: The Council Approved And Ratified The Ongoing Rehabilitation Of The Wailo Nysc Orientation Camp, As Well As The Renovation And Reconstruction Of The Neco State Office In Bauchi.
– Rehabilitation Of Former Governor’s Residence: The Council Also Approved The Rehabilitation Of The Former Governor Of Bauchi State, Alh. Tatari Ali’s Residence.
– Mining Partnerships: The State Commissioner Of Natural Resources Development, Mohammed Maiwada Bello, Announced That Investors From China Have Indicated Interest In Two Mining Sites In Toro And Dass Local Government Areas, In Partnership With The Bauchi State Government.
This Development Is A Direct Result Of Governor Bala Mohammed’s Recent Visit To China.
– Road Rehabilitation: The Council Approved The Rehabilitation Of Part Of The Awalah Roundabout Road Project, Constructed By Former Governor Mohammed Abdullahi Abubakar.
