Baptist Convention Consoles Bauchi Governor Over Stepmother’s Passing

The Nigerian Baptist Convention has condoled with Bauchi State Governor, Senator Bala Abdulkadir Mohammed, over the death of his stepmother, Hajiya Hauwa Mohammed Duguri. The convention’s president, Rev Dr Israel Akanji, described Hajiya Duguri’s passing as a great loss to the family, state, and Nigeria at large.
Rev Dr Akanji, who is also the president of the All African Baptist Fellowship and former CAN chairman, FCT Abuja, prayed for Allah to grant Hajiya Duguri’s soul Aljannatul Firdaus and the immediate family the fortitude to bear the loss.
Governor Mohammed appreciated the clergy’s condolence visit and prayed for Allah to reward him abundantly.
